Soft wash, not water blast

Walls and roofs get a cleaning solution at low pressure, then a rinse, so it cleans without damaging your paint or weatherboards. Concrete can take the pressure, so drives and paths still get a proper pressure clean.

What’s the difference between soft washing and water blasting?

A water blaster cleans with force. At full pressure it can strip paint, scar timber and push water in behind weatherboards. A soft wash uses a cleaning solution at low pressure that treats the mould and algae, and then it’s rinsed off. We soft wash walls and roofs, and pressure wash concrete, which can take it.

How often should I wash my house?

Ideally twice a year, but once a year is OK. A house soft wash also helps prevent mould for up to 12 months.

Does a roof treatment stop moss coming back?

It helps. A roof treatment targets moss, mould and lichen where they grow and helps stop them coming back, so your roof stays cleaner and is easier to look after over time.

Is it safe for my garden and pets?

We use biodegradable products, and we take care around your gardens, family and pets. If there’s anything delicate, tell us when you book.

What do you clean with?

A house soft wash uses a bleach-based cleaning solution at low pressure, and then it’s rinsed off. Roof treatments use benzalkonium chloride, a treatment for moss, mould and lichen.

What do you need from me?

Clear access to the areas being cleaned, and an outside tap we can use.
